Don't start a journey without this

Years ago, I didn’t have a clear WHY.

What came next?

A series of experiences that revealed my purpose and shaped the accountant in me.

Some of them are:

• You can never be too late to revive a dream.

• You can marry your passion into your profession. Why choose one if you can choose both?

• You treat work that doesn’t excite you as just another venture. When what you do excites you, it becomes an adventure.

I’ve been looking back at some of the earlier pieces I wrote…

Since beginning my journey as a content creator

I thought that I was riding a get-rich-quick scheme

Where you put in little effort for huge returns

And although it’s a smart thing to do

Not all journeys are built like that

Some journeys take years and years of hard work

For little to no gains

I would have stopped a long time ago already

If all of my whys revolved around money

But as it is, creating content became a source of happiness

And it unexpectedly led to breakthroughs

Which was enough evidence for me

That purpose is like fuel for every journey.

You can't go far without it.
