New baby coming soon

Over the past weeks, I felt happy seeing some friends and colleagues with a baby coming their way.

Congratulations if you're one of them and if you're also expecting a baby this month and in the coming months.

I can only imagine the cravings, the sleepless nights, constant visits to hospitals, and endless worries that accompany someone who's expecting.

As for me, I'm not expecting.

But I've also been pregnant.

Pregnant with ideas and possibilities.

And sometimes, it can get overwhelming.

So, I've let my ideas rest for a while.

In writing, it's known as the process of incubation.

You know when a mother hen sleeps over their eggs so that they can hatch?

That's what incubation does.

To sleep on your ideas.

And now, I'm ready to deliver once more.

So...new baby coming soon.

But don't take it literally.
