3 Big changes for Busy Season Journals

I hope you’ll find them useful in your own journeys.

Expecting a Thursday email which didn’t arrive?

I’m breaking the pattern this week to change the frequency of sending newsletters.

From today onwards, emails will be sent every Sunday afternoon from my time in Europe.

I still aim for at least 2 emails per month.

But…

Some of the incoming emails will be old posts from LinkedIn.

Or from one of my initial newsletters Less Than 60 Hours

If you’ve also been following my journey on LinkedIn

Or if you’re a pioneer subscriber of my first newsletters

These posts might read familiar to you.

I would understand if you’ll prefer to unsubscribe.

(Unsubscribe link is at the bottom of this newsletter)

I’ll still try to send an entirely fresh write-up once in a while.

And once you do receive them, know this.

Each word was written with precision.

Each draft stemmed from love and care.

Each output was infused with joy from the act of writing.

Busy season journals are not just perspectives and stories from my journey as an accountant/auditor.

It’s also a reflection on career, happiness, and life.

I hope you’ll find them useful in your own journeys.

In summary, here are the three big changes:

  • Change in delivery timing from Thursday to Sunday

  • Change in frequency from weekly to at least two emails per month

  • Change in content and purpose from purely career-related stuff to all-encompassing insights on career, happiness, and life

Things that are keeping me happily busy this month (also my birth month):

  • Organizing my first webinar to deliver financial literacy training for women migrants and OFWs

  • Travels to Lisbon for some wine and sun, plus my regular hunt for books in local bookstores. I was told that the oldest bookstore in the world still in operation, Livraria Bertrand, is located in Portugal’s capital city.

  • Still looking for contributors who would like to share their stories and perspectives from time to time. No fixed commitments. Write whenever you’re free and you have something to say. DM me/comment or reply to this email to know more.

That’s all for now!

As the French love to say, bonne journee! Have fun and keep happy!
